Celebrated with a full family viewing of the Barbie Movie. Wicked dumb
But fun and excellent and funny in spots
1:53 PM
I am glad Barbie is paired with Oppenheimer but both fill me with wordless dread for what it means in 2023 to be living in the United States.
2:42 PM
For family fun, Oppenheimer probably would have not worked out as well though.

Am going to Canada for the Songwriting/Camping weekend on Friday. It was kind of funny being on the radio to promote the event with my friend Chad. There are people in the folk music community who are also trying to stop hospitals and governments from cutting down trees. The nature conservancy where Chad and his family are stewards is one of the most unspoiled places in Ontario--undeveloped, unlogged, largely unroaded and completely gorgeous. So its a really nice place to do anything, let alone one of my favorite things. On the radio he said, Michael Silverstone from New England is running the workshop part and I'm his wingman. So I'm planning out exercises and we'll see what happens. It's bound to be fun, and we'll go to the lake, hike, and come back and write group songs, individual songs, partner songs, and have an late night campfire hootenany Saturday night.
3:23 AM
Sounds like a sublime blast
11:27 AM
Yeah. It's nice to think about.

Here's a surprise. Went to my usual 8 am outdoor yoga class and there was no teacher. Someone asked, is there a teacher here? I volunteered. I just ran through the daily one hour sequence I do every day--in fact I had done it just prior to coming to class. They gave me $80 in donations, which I used to go on a shopping spree for my class and apartment at the greenhouse where yoga is located. Today I became a yoga teacher. Something I never counted on even though I've prepared in secret (even to myself) for three years after taking the training!
2:39 PM
Wow. Well done. You were ready for the call to duty
7:42 AM
Who knew? Guess the daily practice went into the teaching experience fund? That and all the teaching of other things chops.

It’s as if Mookie Betts played shortstop in the 9th

But in this ever changing world in which we live in. . .
Bad writing.
But in this ever changing world in which we’re livin’
Still bad.
You know, the world. The world which-- as we all know,--we live in.
How could that have become immortalized when it’s so tossed off? I feel betrayed because not only do I respect him, but did, and after this rant will again, consider him an artist-guru, on account of him and the Beatles being once in a 500 year genii.
I’m pissed about this this morning, because I’m also pissed about the ever changing world in which we are living.
6:28 AM
Live and let die baby
6:29 AM
I’ll have to.

One of his wurst efforts

When you got a job to do you got to do it well.
You got to give the other fellow (i.e. Odd Job, Goldfingah, et al.)
Hell!
The other fellow!
6:30 AM
When we saw him do this the stage exploded in flames dramatically.
6:31 AM
Of course! As in the 2012 Olympics.
When they parachuted Roger Craig into Buckingham palace in a tuxedo.
I must do something with this rising anger at the stupidity of our all that is held up as valuable that isn’t.
I detected twitter and my 889 tweets, retweets and contacts, erased my profile and changed my password to elaborate gibberish.
Deleted.
When I have the urge to post, I do this. Hope you don’t mind.
